Covington's New Gold Series Diamond Blades

Covington’s New Gold Series diamond blades are excellent quality, commercial grade blades, for lapidary and glass work.  More diamonds in the notched rim design and a stiffer core make for faster cutting and longer blade life.  Designed for hard materials like agates, geodes, and petrified wood, but cuts soft material such as glass superbly.

The solid diamond sintered kerf provides better cutting performance and improved coolant flow.  Covington's Platinum 301 provides superior cutting performance for hard materials such as agate, petrified wood or jade.

Covington’s Professional grade Platinum Series continuous and interrupted rim blades for lapidary materials. The Covington Platinum 303 produces smoother cuts and is used for cutting rare and valuable materials when waste must be held to a minimum and speed of cut is essential. The Platinum series diamond blades last longer and will cut faster than ordinary notched-rim or plated-diamond blades.

Covington’s Platinum Series Resin Bonded Diamond Blades.  These 1/4” depth super heavy diamond concentration blades are an excellent choice for cutting Pyrex, glass, ceramic, and other materials where heat generation must be kept at a minimum.  The resin bonded diamond blade gives a smoother, cleaner cut than most plated blades can.  These long lasting blades are commonly used by glass artists worldwide and are excellent at cutting glass tube, bar, and rods.
